Form to add results from shows abroad to KIPA

Based on the SRL rules, the riders and horses can get ranking points from shows that took place abroad at both national and international level. Results from foreign shows are also valuable for statistical purposes.

The application form developed allows riders to bring in their results to KIPA and to have a full record of this result under her/his profile.

The form is accessible from the riders´ profile, results tab.

The following steps should be followed to complete and submit the form.

1. Search for a show in calendar -  once the first rider reported the results the show will be added to calendar and the show related information will not be collected twice.

2. Add show details if the show is not found in the calendar

3. Add participants - a rider can add all horses that she/he rode during the show from the same form

4. Add classes - details requested to allocate ranking points  are requested. Once a class is added and confirmed other participants will not need to fill this data again, they can go directly to results section.

5. Add results - several results for athlete-horse combination can be added

When in the form is submitted, it will appear in the dashboard for SRL administrator. SRL administrator can review the details in the form, open and edit the form, accept or reject the application.

When the application form is accepted the following automated processes will be triggered:

1. A show will be created provided the show is not existing in the calendar.

2. Classes will be created provided they are not existing already under the show

3. Registrations added.

4. Results added and confirmed.

5. Ranking points and qualifications calculations scheduled (put into a queue and will  be executed during in 10-15 minutes)

The service will be improved further by adding sending of e-mail to applicant after application is submitted, approved or declined.  Some small improvements in user interfaces will also be done at a later stage.

The new mobile versions of the landing page, main menus and filters sections of all pages were developed and released.

From landing page it is now easy to get directly to Calendar by choosing the quick filter of the discipline or pressing "See all disciplines":

Filters section allows selecting the filters´ parameters without opening the filters and or scrolling.

Other improvements and small features

1. An excel/csv results export for riders and horse added. The results export is accessible from a rider or horse profile under the Results tab.

2. An organisation type for show organiser (club or company) added to the Calendar excel/csv export.

3. In the add/edit class form, the selection of sections (i.e. horse, large pony or small pony) is more clearly presented and is more user-friendly.

(if this format appears to be well received by users, some other selections with few choices can be implemented in the same way)
