Release notes September 2020

In September, the development and testing of the ranking tables was finished and ranking tables released. We continue working on qualifications module to be able to check qualifications automatically for jumping and dressage. The basic solution for qualifications has been developed and is in testing / configuration phase. 

Ranking points

Ranking points are calculated automatically after the class results are published based on the results´ data and ranking points rules. 

The charts are defined for the following disciplines: 

- Jumping
- Dressage
- Paradressage
- Eventing
- Endurance
- Driving (calculations from 1.1.2021)
- Western

The charts are calculated based on athlete age and chart period: There are charts per athlete, horse and pairs. Additional filters can apply for region and club. 

Features for show organisers 

To enable the automatic calculations of rankings points based on ranking tables rules of Federation, there have been several discipline-speciic changes done to class add/ edit form and for entering the results. 

• The class setting has several flags to mark whether the class is restricted for certain age group or category of a horse or rider, or it is a team competition or in case of eventing competition whether it takes place indoors. For driving, there is a flag for one-day show. The flags are used either for coefficients or for deciding on eligibility of result for charts, i.e. indoor and team shows do not give points to charts.

• For driving shows, organiser can now choose which phases are open for competition, i.e. only Dressage, or Dressage and Cones. Based on this selection the registration form will also automatically be configured and when registering for the class only phases open for registration can be selected by user. 

• For endurance shows the organiser can also add the ideal time range: minimum and maximum. The ideal time is checked for regional charts. When idea time is added points will be calculated automatically.

• In the backoffice, the SRL administrators can check, what charts are configured and what are the charts rules configurations: 

For rules, the eligibility criteria, i.e. class parameters (national, regional), points tables and coefficients can be defined in the system. The system is flexible, the rules can be changed and new charts open based on the Federation decisions. 

• For HEPPA integration, an improvement has been implemented to remove the vaccination from horse record if vaccination is no longer sent by Hippos, i.e. was marked wrongly.
